To ensure the locomotive can navigate curves, the wheels on the middle axle have no flanges.
This locomotive differs from its four sister units in that it has a different cab. This must have been modified after delivery to the Wolfsegg-Traunthal Coal Mines. Upon delivery, it also had a closed cab.
Extensive work was carried out on the locomotive during the winter months of 2018–2019. Prior to that, its gauge had already been converted from 570 mm to 700 mm.
The locomotive is now fully operational again.
