Krauss 1

A total of two identical locomotives were built for the Société des Mines d’Esch (SME). Both locomotives were used at the Providence Mine in Fond-de-Gras until around 1944.
After the mine was closed, the locomotives were stored at the Providence workshop in Fond-de-Gras until around 1966.
Locomotive 3665 was subsequently displayed as a monument in Petingen until 1986. Its sister locomotive (3666) was scrapped in Fond-de-Gras.
Locomotive 3665 was added to the inventory of the Service des sites et monuments in 1986.
The locomotive subsequently underwent a major inspection in Meiningen and has been in service with the Minièresbunn since 1992.
