Originally, four locomotives of this type were manufactured by Jeumont, though in two different versions.
The main difference is that these two locomotives weigh only 36 metric tons. This is because they were designed so that they could be lowered in separate parts through a conveyor shaft. The other two locomotives, manufactured for ARBED, weigh 44 metric tons. See: ARBED mines francaises 2

However, the main components of the locomotives are largely identical in construction. This is particularly evident in the individual parts of the main running gear, the end crossbeams, and the bogies.
These two locomotives were delivered to the “Mine St. Pierremont” in 1954
Later, the locomotives were put into service at the “Mine de Roncourt.”
